I prefer to use a hands-on, specific adjustment on our patients. I only use instruments in some cases where I can't use my hands based on a patient's prior conditions. The best way for the body to heal and remove nerve interference is to restore the motion of the joints of the spine, through a specific adjustment to that segment.

You may have seen the videos on YouTube of the "ring dinger" or of every joint being "cracked". This is merely for entertainment. A real chiropractic adjustment is done with an intentional line of drive through a specific joint and in our office, that is all we do.

Your Time is Valuable

Another thing that separates us is the time you spend in our office. Time is your most valuable asset; you can't get it back once it is gone. For your exam, I go over your health history and your current problem. I examine the spine and may do some neurological tests. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes. We don't waste your time doing unnecessary thermal scans.

I base my treatment on what I feel in the spine and x-rays. That is why I send our patients for x-rays at Jennie Edmundson Hospital because I will not guess about your spine, I want to be able to see what is going on. Your first visit is usually your longest. Daily adjustments usually take less than 5 minutes.
